Echo dot and echo flex are not recognised

I own a echo dot and echo flex but they are not displaying in the home app.. other devices are getting added

You can enable debug logging in the plugin settings to display all Alexa devices in the homebridge logs. If you don’t see it there, then please read the instructions here: https://github.com/joeyhage/homebridge-alexa-smarthome/tree/main#common-issues

Hi Vikram Somasundaram, when you add Echo devices they are published as TVs which are external accessories. Check the Homebridge logs when you restart homebridge and you will see a message telling you to add the accessory manually in the Home app

Joey Hage: hi Joey, I have checked adding manually on HomeKit app as well; echo dot and echo flex aren’t showing in the add accessory page. I have also checked the entire logs there isn’t any information stating to add them manually
